Catherine Gund
Founder and Director of Aubin Pictures, Catherine Gund is an Emmy-nominated and Academy-shortlisted producer, director, writer, and activist. She focuses on strategic, sustainable social transformation, arts and culture, HIV/AIDS, and racial, reproductive and environmental justice. Her films, which have screened around the world and on PBS, HBO, Paramount+, the Discovery Channel, Sundance Channel, Free Speech TV, Netflix, and Amazon, include: Paint Me a Road Out of Here, Meanwhile, Angola Do You Hear Us? Voices From a Plantation Prison, Primera, Aggie, Chavela, and Born to Fly.
She has served on several arts, media, and justice nonprofit boards and has been a creative advisor on numerous documentary films. She is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and alumnus of Brown University and the Whitney Independent Study Program. She has four children and lives in NYC.

Mariah Norman
Mariah Norman is a writer, filmmaker, and dancer from Cincinnati, Ohio. A graduate of Harvard University with a degree in History & Literature, Norman’s practice blends archival research and speculative world-building across various mediums to work towards a more just future.

Flavia Romani
Flavia Romani is a Venezuelan editor, assistant editor, and motion graphics designer based in New York. Her credits include feature documentaries and television projects such as Who Killed Alex Odeh? (Sundance and Berlinale, 2026), PBS - American Masters: Art Spiegelman: Disaster Is My Muse (PBS, Doc NYC 2024), and Meanwhile (Margaret Mead Film Festival 2024).
She has also worked across children’s media, digital publishing, and podcast production with clients including Scholastic and Spotify. Flavia is a member of BIPOC Doc Editors, The Handy Foundation, and Brown Girls Doc Mafia.

Emerson Mahoney
Emerson Mahoney is a Wampanoag cinematographer who draws inspiration from fashion, indigenous culture, music, nature and the ocean. Since 2023 he has worked with Aubin Pictures, Sony Music, HBO pa’lanteh, South Shore Films, Italian director, Ulisse Lendaro, Anna Deveare Smith, numerous commercial production companies, progressive fashion brands like FANG NYC, Manitobah and Huckleberry Woman, and minority-focused dance groups such as Ballet Hispanico and Danza Organica. His other cinematography credits include the Academy shortlisted film Angola Do You Hear Us? and Submerge and feature documentaries from Kevin Lopez and Ulisse Lendaro, Pet Gala and Saint of Brooklyn, among other ongoing productions.
